collaboration i had the pleasure to work with jennifer and ken barker in washington and don davis. as well as others from the construction site. and we also had an excellent contractor. that my most significant professional collaboration in the project was with two people don doug last from the fine arts program and cliff low. cliff lows sensitive were structural for me to create the landscape ribbons. don douglas demanded the best quality. the sculptor in this court yard called ribbons is the heart and soul of the building. it's meant to adapt to the moments like this. it can be a place of respite. the sculptor responses to the hierarch of the skrurlt with the ribbons. this major emphasis on the horizon is to compliment the architecture and it is perfect to the historic use. from under no circumstances ribbons the sculptors that you see to the side rise and fall and create pathways of decomposed granite that anchor the space. there's actually an interesting story about the fountains. when arthur brown completed the designs in 1932 the court yard was never completed because of guess what, bud

thorough. thank you for your presentation. okay. we have don james from parks and recreation. so don is going to discuss so parks and recreation priority projects. >> supervisors, capital director for the san francisco parks and recreation. i have a brief presentation today on the eastern plan for the open space. some of this was covered earlier by the city planning presentation. i think there is one fundamental commitment made as part of eastern neighborhoods. we would create four new open spaces and we are very well poised to follow through on that commitment. as noted in the earlier presentation 17 and folsom is a good example of the collaboration that's gone on between the planning and the parks and recreation and the community , we are able to use those impact fees to secure that site and complete a design. that project is on hold now to make time for the puc to create storm water catch basin underneath the park. once that is complete, we should be able to move forward. i think that spirit of collaboration is what we want to continue to repeat and all the other projects that we

is not working. thank you. >> next speaker, please. >> yeah, hello, my name is don mcpherson, i am a member of casa justa and what i want to speak about basically is a couple things. the difference between the owners and master tenants, the violations and the communication between the dbi and the violations. no. 1, i think basically that master tenants have too much control over their jurisdiction as they can play and move these people around and force evictions, force -- i will rephrase that -- force predatory evictions. the dbi, i've been dealing with the dbi for about 4 years on one particular case and i'm still there through their assistance. so i know you guys have been working hard on what you're doing, but this is a complex matter. it's not just a situation that speculators come in, buy houses and flip them. there is problems within the areas of the master tenants. they are also turning a profit. it's predatory. so i think you've done a lot, mr. campos, in what you said earlier and i think you guys are doing pretty well and mr. yee brought up some interesting things also which
